Overview
Following the success of the 1st conference in 2017, the Shanghai Institute of International Finance Center (SIIFC) at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and the University of Edinburgh Business School are organizing the 2nd Shanghai Green Finance Conference on 27 May 2018. The objective is to present top quality theoretical and empirical academic research on green finance. There is no registration fee for speakers. The conference also includes a forum which brings together key policy makers and top professionals.
The committee welcome studies that provide cutting-edge insights into current research work. Specific topics and research questions can include, but are not limited to the interplay between green finance and asset management, banking, fintech, entrepreneurship, economic growth, business ethics, capital markets, corporate governance, the carbon emissions reduction project, derivatives of energy and carbon markets, and other related topics on green and carbon finance.
In conjunction with the editor, the conference organisers will invite a small number of conference papers to be submitted to Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money or Emerging Market Review under regular review process.
